your title reads orange construction work, but orange is not even a dominate color in this picture. black and white construction work should be the more apt title. and why are there no details in the black areas? you should select them and apply a guassian blur to it, that would bring out the details without compromising the quality.

Rather cliched image - too common these days to rate a second look - but I do like the little bit of color there - whether it was part of capture or applied pp.

I think the first image worked the best for me, because the orange really stood out and the composition was less busy.

I like the way the taller building overshadows the one in the foreground, and the aura of light emitted from behind of all of them.

Love the perspective Michael! Incredible clarity - very well done!

Great perspective...the orange isn't as prominent, but I can still see it in the building. Nicely done.

I find this quite a successful image. Perhaps a bit clichéd , but still well composed and successful on its own terms. The dark shadows opening up to a light - but not white - sky lends it an air of mystery, and the strong orange in the centre gives it an obvious focus.

I agree with Bronnie, the first was the best for me too, but the others were good too!

Thank you so much Michael for taking part in the little experiment. You did New York proud. Loved your interpretation of the theme, you approached it from a unique angle and produced 3 wonderful images. I owe you.

I agree with Duncan, 3 wonderful images. What a great series and a challenging subject - something most may see almost every day and would never really stop and just look at.
