Bronnie from Christchurch, New ZealandLots of lovely lines in this - and the highlight once again works well. Not quite as striking as yesterday's for me, but then I'm more into curves, perhaps it's a girl thing?! 2 Mar 2007 6:05am Makoto from Sapporo, JapanMany orange lines are very interesting. Nice work, Michael. 2 Mar 2007 3:16pm Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanOne of the things that I like to see during a construction is all the machinery and objects necessary to complete the project, sometimes people tend not to pay attention to this, only to the final result, but installing all this machinery is a challenge itself, great tribute to the construction process! 2 Mar 2007 3:30pm Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, JapanCool shot Michael. As Alfredo says, the sheer array of materials required in order to build something else is staggering. The scaffolds are often engineering phenomena in themselves. 2 Mar 2007 3:34pm Stu from Kyoto, JapanSimple. Crisp and sharp. Perfectly composed. A great entry to the work theme. 2 Mar 2007 4:45pm Martine Lapointe from Québec, CanadaInteresting following between your pictures! I like the orange very much! 2 Mar 2007 5:56pm George P Hickey from United StatesFirst there is the mess of the construction site. And then one day, all of a sudden, there is a completed building. During that time of construction many organized complex structures are created and dismantled. Capturing this point in the process is what photography is good at. Well done. 2 Mar 2007 7:46pm Manuela Photography from Hainburg (near Frankfurt/Main), GermanyWell captured! Love all the lines and the orange tones. 2 Mar 2007 8:35pm Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaNice follow up Michael, the selective colour is working a treat! 2 Mar 2007 9:07pm jc from IrelandCool complement to yesterday's shot .. i like how eventhough the shot is quite intricate detail-wise, it comes down to two colours.. 2 Mar 2007 10:44pm Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaI like but don't love this shot. Something a bit too static about it for me, and the slight vertical skew is offputting. Still the colours and contrasts are compelling. 3 Mar 2007 2:31pm Michelle Bialowas from Melbourne Victoria, AustraliaGreat series - this composition is quite heavy and the use of selective colour balances it out and makes it visually comfortable - I can't stop looking at it and reveiwing it. 4 Mar 2007 12:41pm |
