SpotlightsPosted by Michael Zhang (Ithaca, United States) on 30 January 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. These cars were turning the corner. The star effect on the street lights is achieved through a small aperture. You can test this effect by going out at night and staring at a street lamp. Open your eyes wide (open up the aperture) and then squint (close the aperture). The difference will be immediate. This is the last of my series on light trails...for now.
