It's the way nature works isn't it?
Don't forget about constructive criticism! Thank you all.
What a fantastic contrast - just wonderful. Ok, ok, cristicism, as requested - I would of liked to have seen just alittle more detail in the leaves, maybe just an extra half a stop however seeing this image on a mac or even just a different computer does make it harder then looking at an image infront of you. Do you save your images for the web or save them as a low res jpeg? I use to save for the web however I found that the colours became lost and now save them as a jpeg @ 72dpi. Great work.

very well spotted michael. It wouldn't have occurred to me to photo this subject but seeing your shot it makes me realize there are photo ops. everywhere if you just know how to look. Beautiful contrast. I tried for criticism but none came to mind.....sorry. Nice shot.

I love the idea of the contrast between a "hairy" (yes for me leafs are the trees hair...) tree vs a nude tree. The little things that ennoy me a bit is despite the fact that the tree are the only object one the photo, they don't seem to do a "clash", they almost seem to flee from each other (I think that the fact that branches go out of the framing help). I would try a little different angle so that the tree seems to fight each other. I'm sorry this is more a matter of taste than a real technical criticism, but technically this photo is far superior to my knowledge so I gave my feelings. Nice work, I love to watch it and try to see how to better it... It makes me think about my own work more critically too.

It works for me. Constructively Id like to see more of a gradient in the sky, as its hinted at in the photo but could no doubt be enhanced via a bit of PS trickery.

I would have preferred a looser framing to the subject to show the trees as a whole.

Ha! I like this shot. So who's winning? The one with the leaves or the one without... ;)

Good eye to pick this one out. I feel it would work better in B&W. If you didn't explain it, it would've taken a while for me to figure out what's the point of this picture. In B&W there are more contrast and there aren't colors to look through.

Beutiful composition with the contrast. For a long critic, my english is not enough good to that. Sorry!

Very interesting shot! Did you have to do any "shaving" for the nude one? :) Such a rare opportunity and you got it! Gotta love the way you look at nature, Michael!
