I like how the rows of chairs point a line leading the the subject. However I would put him a bit more off center.

yeah either put the conductor on the right of the picture, with the chairs leading to him, or center him and make it a vertical shot. you can also select and brighten up his face, it blends into the dark background and that's not good. in the mugshot seagull picture, its right eye was blocked from the sun, and i selected it and bumped up the levels to make it brighter. you can't tell what i did, but it makes the picture looks much better.
